Erica & Ricky's Wedding

I am SO glad that I got Erica & Ricky's images finished. I had some serious doubts that I would get them completed before we leave....Here's a rundown of my week:
Saturday-Erica & Ricky's wedding AND Mikey's 2 Year Session
Sunday-traveled back home through Cleveland and arrived home after midnight
Monday-Epling Family session
Tuesday-packing and a meeting-left for Cleveland
Wednesday-playing with MAGGIE! and getting to see Kristy and Ryder-packing for Jamaica
Thursday-trip to Belk to get new tennis shoes because I left mine at home and need them to wear everyday for 2 weeks in Jamaica-traveled to my parents' house
Friday-go to Murfreesboro for my birthday lunch and Brittney & Tyler's rehearsal
Saturday-Brittney & Tyler's wedding, be in Cleveland at the church building at midnight to go to Jamaica for 2 weeks........
Whew.......I am pooped! :) I am glad that I got Erica & Ricky's images processed so that I can share them on the blog-I know they are anxious to see them all, so here goes....

Erica and I taught together my first two years. She had a photographer who arrived at noon, but she asked if I could come get some shots of the girls getting ready that morning and some shots from the balcony during the ceremony.

I LOVE this sweet shot of Erica & her mom before the ceremony.

Erica's parents were so sweet together-this is after they lit their family candle.

Erica & Ricky did not see each other until the ceremony. Here was Ricky's first look at his beautiful bride.

I had a great spot in the balcony....

Abigail, Erica's niece, was in a hurry to get OUT of the auditorium! Check the slideshow for more cute pictures of her!

We wanted to sneak a Northfield Elementary Family shot-this was right before. Can you tell everyone is happy for Erica?!

Our Northfield Family, past and present, minus Mrs. Toni because we couldn't find her!

Miss Mia and her mom McKenzie were there for the wedding-Erica had Mia in class this year and I had Mia's big brother Landon the year before. Super sweet family! McKenzie said Mia asked everyday all summer if it was Miss Stem's wedding yet.

Several of Erica's students came to see her get married.

I love these two of Erica with her grandmother.

Erica & Ricky, congratulations and best wishes for a happy marriage! I hope you had a great time in New York (except getting a gift from a pigeon, Erica!).
Enjoy your slideshow.

Epling Family Sneak Peek

Yesterday I had the honor of spending time with the Epling family. They are friends of ours and used a gift certificate from a baby shower for their session.
We played outside and inside and had a great time. There are more to come later, but here is a sneak peek since we are about to travel for a long time! :)
Be sure to REGISTER to see all of the images when they are available.

Jeremy and the kids playing outside.

Giving brother some lovin'

Kerri and the kiddos

Sweet Joshua-LOVE LOVE LOVE his hair!

Little Miss Kaitlyn got this camera for cleaning her room and making her bed for a month! It's a Disney princess camera and it even says things like, "Your smile is very becoming."
Looks like I might have an assistant....after I teach her to put her hands on the sides of the camera. :)

Drinking tea...

I had a great time Jeremy & Kerri!

Mikey's 2 Years Old!

Our little friend Mikey has turned 2 years old!! After Erica's wedding Saturday, we headed to Barfield Park to have a play session with Mikey and his parents.
Mikey LOVES the slide! When he saw them from the car, he started yelling "WEEE SLIDE! WEEE SLIDE!"

He is also a big fan of bubbles!

There are lots more to come, but we are about to leave for our mission trip to Jamaica and I wanted to get these up for Dave & Christy. Hope you enjoyed!

Erica's Married! Sneak Peek

Saturday was my friend Erica's wedding. Erica and I taught together in Murfreesboro for two years. Erica asked me to come and get some shots of her and the girls getting ready and from the balcony during the ceremony.
Here's a little peek at the beginning of the day!

This is the fabulous Beth! She is the kindergarten assistant in Murfreesboro and is also a wedding coordinator extraordinaire! She made the day go so smoothly!

More to come later!

Visiting the Andrews Part 2

Last weekend we had a great time getting to visit with Matthew, Morgan, and the boys in Kentucky. I took so many pictures that I had to break it up into two posts!
I was taking so many pictures that Matthew said, "Denise, I have an idea for your photography-you should go to people's houses for the weekend and just take pictures of their life!" Hmmm, there's an idea. :)

Matthew & Morgan bought the cutest little house with five acres (I think)-it even has a little barn and pond.Saturday afternoon, Maddox went to help his daddy at the barn.
They put a cage in the barn for the chickens they bought at the flea market that morning (see the slideshow). Then, Maddox fed the calves Matthew's dad brought for them.
That was very enjoyable-Matthew poured the feed in the trough and Maddox said, "M'ere cows! EAT!" They would come close and take a bite, then Maddox said, "Mmm, good food." :) How sweet!
Next, he grabbed a handful of feed, threw it to the calves and they ran away.... oh well.

Then, Maddox and his daddy fed the alpacas-Bert & Ernie.

Yes, alpacas!!-Matthew now has 1 parrot, 13 chicks, 2 calves, 2 alpacas, 1 dog, 2 boys, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Earlier in the day Maddox helped Matthew water the garden, so when Morgan's sister came to plant some things, Maddox was a great helper.

You'll have to watch the slideshow to see him watering the garden (he also was kind enough to water Daddy, Wesley, Mommy and Denise!).

Now, for some playing!

I took this picture at Maddox's first birthday party......

So, I couldn't resist this one.....

Sunday, Morgan wanted to get some family pictures......but Maddox had "the birus" that the cousins had been passing around.
So we did the best we could.

And with some help from "Wesey," we got a few smiles.

Baby Love
Matthew and Morgan, we loved getting to visit with you so much.
Thank you for being such great friends and for being wonderful examples to us of how to be amazing Christian parents (one day!).
We love you! Enjoy your SLIDESHOW.

And, if you want to see more of our weekend of fun,
